CSES Experienced Advisor Track

A Fast-Track For Experienced Professionals Applying for Direct Designation

Purpose:
The CSES Experienced Advisor Track allows qualified professionals with demonstrated experience serving athletes, entertainers, or other high-profile clientele to earn the Certified Sports & Entertainment Specialist™ (CSES) designation without completing the introductory Fundamentals of Working with Athletes & Entertainers course.

This path is designed for individuals who already possess verified field experience and advanced professional credentials but wish to formalize their expertise under the CSES designation.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

1. Minimum Experience:
   • At least 3 years of active professional experience in real estate, finance, legal, or advisory services directly involving sports or entertainment clients.
2. Documented Transactions or Client Work:
   • Proof of at least 3 verified transactions or client relationships involving athletes, entertainers, or their representatives within the past 5 years.
     (These may include sales, advisory engagements, endorsements, or business management relationships.)
3. Professional Standing:
   • Must hold an active license or certification in a relevant field (e.g., real estate, finance, mortgage, legal, accounting, talent management).
   • Must be in good ethical standing with all applicable professional boards or associations.
4. References:
   • Submit two professional references and one client or agent reference attesting to experience and professionalism.
5. Compliance Requirement:
   • Must complete the CSES Code of Ethics module (online, 45 minutes) and pass the CSES Advisor Exam (25 questions, 75% passing score).

1. Complete the CSES Experienced Advisor Application (online form or PDF).
2. Upload documentation (license, résumé, references, client proof, and professional biography).
3. Pay the Experienced Advisor Application Fee ($1,995) includes certification, announcement, digital badge, and first-year membership.
4. Receive your Certified Sports & Entertainment Specialist™ (CSES) credential and profile listing on the CSES Network.

Annual Renewal

All Experienced Advisors must maintain:

• Active CSES Advisor membership ($995/year).
